From Tim Coop - Youth Minister: (May 2008) LOVE NEEDED! Summertime is here with plentiful opportunities in our youth ministry for anyone who likes to combine fun with Kingdom work. There is no other time of year that can match the dog days for kid-intensive time. They have more free time, which means more time to engage them in ministry. We minister to them, alongside of them, upside down and sideways (if you like roller coasters)! Bible study at poolside, hands-on local missions and ministry, camp, Super Summer, and the list just keeps going on. It is a great push to provide them with intensive discipleship and growth to send them back into the world of school with a renewed mind and focus on Christ. It is a time for building relationships with a purpose. Students need all the strong adult Christ-followers they can get building them up with the ways of the Lord.
