AUDIO MINISTRY
Purpose: To provide quality sound for worship services and special events.

BIBLE AND TRACT MINISTRY
Purpose: To reach the whole world with the gospel in obedience to the Great Commission by providing Bibles and tracts to missionaries and ministries for distribution throughout the world and by aiding in translating and rewriting tracts for cultural relevance.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Review requests and correspond with missionaries concerning literature needs 2) Purchase and ship materials 3) Maintain stock room 4) Maintain tract rack for the church 5) Maintain communication board for the church.

CARE MINISTRY
Purpose: To provide care for the various needs of individuals and families at FBCLC.

COLLEGE MINISTRY
Purpose: To provide an environment for young college age singles that offers opportunities for fellowship, education and discipleship.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Teach a discipleship class 2) Host an event 3) Help plan and participate in missions and outreach opportunities 4) Participate in evangelism efforts.

DISASTER RELIEF TASK FORCE
Purpose: To provide help to disaster victims.

EVANGELISM MINISTRY
Purpose: To plan and help implement strategies to reach Liberty City for Christ.

FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT & TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY
Purpose: To maintain and repair church property and equipment, so that it remains in a condition that brings glory to God.

FELLOWSHIP MINISTRY
Purpose: To encourage fellowship among the body of Christ at FBCLC by providing opportunities for the church family to gather together.

FINANCE MINISTRY
Purpose: To evaluate and recommend overall financial and budget needs for the church.

FLORAL MINISTRY
Purpose: To provide flowers, plants, and other decorative items for the beautification of the church building, especially the worship center.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Acquire and arrange flowers and plants in the worship center 2) Help with decorative items in the worship center 3) Acquire and arrange flowers and plants for special occasions.

GA'S - GIRLS IN ACTION MINISTRY
Purpose: To minister to first through sixth grade girls on Wednesday nights through scripture memory, missions ministries, crafts, and activities.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Teach a class 2) Assist in teaching a class.

GREETING MINISTRY
Purpose: To meet people as they come to the church, with the goal of helping visitors feel welcome and members feel cared for.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Greet people before worship services or special events 2) Escort people to appropriate Sunday school classes 3) Pray for those you greet 4) Make follow-up contact with visitors.

H.E.L.P. MINISTRY
Purpose: To show the love of Christ ("His Everlasting Love Practiced") in a physical way, by providing practical assistance to families of our church and community.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Pray for those in need 2) Provide maintenance and repairs to those in need 3) Provide other services to those in need.

HIWAY 80 RESCUE MISSION MINISTRY
Purpose: To minister to homeless men at local shelter (3rd Sunday monthly).
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Aid in meal preparation and serving 2) Lead in worship 3) Preach 4) Share testimony.

JAIL MINISTRY (RESTORATIVE JUSTICE)
Purpose: To minister to locally incarcerated inmates and their families.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Preach 2) Lead worship 3) Share personal testimony 4) Visit inmates and their families.

KIDS FOR CHRIST MINISTRY
Purpose: To minister to fourth through sixth grade children in our community on Thursday afternoons, pointing them to Christ through Biblical teaching, worship, and activities.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Drive children from the school to the church 2) Serve refreshments 3) Teach a class 4) Assist in teaching a class.

LIBRARY MINISTRY
Purpose: To provide the church with access to Christian books, videos, and other resources.
Ministry Opportunities: Help in various areas within the church library.

LONG RANGE PLANNING MINISTRY
Purpose: To consider the long range building needs for the Church. This ministry will look into the space needs of education, worship and parking. They will also consider the needs for the Church's playground and recreation areas.

MEDICAL CLINICS MINISTRY
Purpose: To minister to those in need of medical attention through the free clinics conducted at Hispanic Missions in the area on the third Saturday and Sunday of the month, under the leadership and direction of Dr. Glenn Dundas.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Provide a noontime meal and a place to rest for Dr. and Mrs. Dundas on the third Sunday of each month 2) Go to any of the monthly clinics in Kilgore, Rusk, New Summerfield, and Athens to help greet clients, fill out paperwork, and be a friendly person to visit with while they wait to see the doctor.

MEN'S MINISTRY
Purpose: To glorify God by training men to be Just like Jesus.
Ministry Opportunities: To be mentored and trained in a small group setting to be Christlike men at home, at church and at work. Each group will last about three months, one beginning in the fall and one in the spring. Contact person for this ministry is Rickey Simmons.

MISSION FRIENDS MINISTRY
Purpose: To minister to four and five year old children on Wednesday nights through Biblical teaching, singing, and crafts.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Teach 2) Assist in teaching.

MISSION TEAMS MINISTRY
Purpose: To review requests for mission teams and present potential mission trips to the Missions Committee to bring before the church for formal acceptance.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Meet regularly for prayerful review of requests 2) Establish and enforce guidelines for participants 3) Recruit potential team members 4) Interview potential team members 5) Provide orientation for mission trips 6) Debrief mission teams after mission trips.

MISSIONARY MINISTRY
Purpose: To lead in providing encouragement for our missionaries.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Maintain database of addresses, birthdays, and other special events 2) Send birthday and Christmas cards 3) Send general correspondence 4) Organize and send care packages for special occasions 5) Aid in church awareness of missionary needs.

MOTHER'S DAY OUT MINISTRY
Purpose: To provide quality childcare and godly instruction to preschool children on Tuesdays during the Sabine ISD school year, as a ministry to our church and an outreach to our community.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Teach a class 2) Assist in teaching a class.

MUSIC MINISTRY
Purpose: Believing that singing praises to our Lord is a gospel ordinance and one of the best ways we have as the people of God to express His glory, the purpose of the music ministry is to help lead the church to be a worshiping community through music.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Sing in the choir 2) Play an instrument 3) Sing or play on a worship team 4) Work with Minister of Music to plan and schedule music events 5) Work with the Children's Choir 6) Plan Summer Camp and other children's music events.

NEW MEMBERS MINISTRY
Purpose: To help new members become integrated into the life of the church.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Visit in the homes of people who have recently jointed 2) Have new members in your home for a meal 3) Call new members and welcome them into the fellowship 4) Deliver new members packets and give explanation of the contents.

NURSERY MINISTRY
Purpose: To provide a safe atmosphere for preschool children, rich in encouragement, patience, listening, affection, and love, an atmosphere where teachers can build the precious foundation of God and His loving care into the children's lives.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Serve in the nursery during worship services 2) Serve in the nursery during special events.

NURSING HOME MINISTRY
Purpose: To offer hope and encouragement to those in nursing homes.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Preach 2) Lead worship 3) Visit elderly.

OFFERING MINISTRY
Purpose: To usher individuals into an atmosphere of worship, and to facilitate the receiving of offerings, helping to set an atmosphere where worship through giving can take place.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Serve as an usher for worship services 2) Help schedule ushers for worship services 3) Distribute bulletins before worship services 4) Help provide seating when necessary.

VERCOMERS OUTREACH MINISTRY
Purpose: To teach others to overcome bad behavior and wrong choices.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Teach in jails 2) Work in after-care 3) Outreach and mentoring.

PRAYER MINISTRY
Purpose: To glorify God by being his house of prayer, to encourage the body of Christ to seek godly wisdom, to minister to the saints, and to intercede for the lost.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Participate in the intercessory prayer ministry 2) Participate in the prayer chain 3) Pray for needs from the weekly prayer list 4) Send notes of encouragement 5) Pray in homes and hospitals 6) Participate in prayer walks 7) Participate in weekly prayer meetings.

PUBLICITY
Purpose: To publicize and promote news events to newspapers, newsletter and the community.
Ministry Opportunities: 1)Get photos for church functions, events and activities 2) Interview appropriate groups for newspaper articles, etc. 3) Publicize and remind people to contact them for news events 4) Update marquee out in front of chapel.

RA'S - ROYAL AMBASSADORS MINISTRY
Purpose: To minister to first through sixth grade boys on Wednesday nights through scripture memory, missions ministries, crafts, and activities.

SENIOR ADULTS MINISTRY
Purpose: To further fellowship of the senior adult membership of our congregation by providing various activities on a monthly basis and contacting members for ministry needs.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Driving vans to activities 2) Calling members to identify needs or remind of coming events 3) Helping with set-up or clean-up for various activities.

SINGLES MINISTRY
Purpose: To encourage each other and know that we are not alone, but that God has a plan for our lives.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Participate in times of prayer for each other 2) Participate in times of fellowship together 3) Participate and/or teach during times of studying God's Word and aid in applying it to our particular situations.

SUNDAY SCHOOL & DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING MINISTRY
Purpose: To provide a time of small group scripture study, ministry, and fellowship in adult, youth children, and preschool departments on Sunday mornings, and train and equip the church for service and growth in the Lord through discipleship training classes each week.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL MINISTRY
Purpose: To provide an opportunity for children in our community to hear the Word of God and see God glorified in the lives of volunteers as they teach, work with other volunteers, and carry out God's plan.

VISITATION MINISTRY
Purpose: To share the love of Christ by visiting in the homes of our church members and visitors from our community.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Share the gospel with the lost 2) Pray for the needs of others 3) Encourage those in need 4) Welcome visitors.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT SUPPER MINISTRY
Purpose: To provide a quality meal for families coming to Wednesday night activities directly from work or school, and to provide a time of fellowship within the church family.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Prepare Meals 2) Serve Meals 3) Clean Kitchen area.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY
Purpose: We proclaim Him, admonishing every woman and teaching every woman with all wisdom, that we may present every woman complete in Christ. And for this purpose, we also labor, striving according to His power, which mightily works within us.
Ministry Opportunities: 1) Participate in the preparations for the Ladies Spring Retreat 2) Participate in the preparations for the Ladies Luncheon 3) Participate in the preparations for the Ladies Holiday Tea.

YOUTH MINISTRY
Purpose: The student ministry exists to reach students with the gospel of Jesus Christ, to encourage them to surrender to God's Word, to offer themselves in service to Christ, and to care for one another, for the glory of God along!
