There is a reason why the unreached peoples of the world are unreached - they live in difficult and dangerous places of the earth. Since 1991, Steve and Christine Hayes have been living in Russia, working in orphanages and schools, first in Moscow and now in Krasnodar, Southern Russia. This godless city of a million desperate people is just a few hours away from the border of Georgia. It is one of the difficult places. But the Hayes are making inroads in this, one of the least evangelized and most ethnically-diverse places in the world. They have opened their home to atheist students, curious neighbors, American businessmen, a Brit and an agnostic Australian. This, in addition to evangelizing at universities, teaching character qualities in public schools, visiting orphanages, organizing bike tours with atheists, Muslim,s Buddhists and Christian university students, as well as raising five children of their own. This is where Christ has called the Hayes family to do His work - on the ground, in community with real people. There are very few people working in this harvest field and the Hayes invite you to pray for them, support them, or better yet, go join them in their great adventure, reaching the unreached.
